About app.kevinchia.sg
The accounting, the payroll, the customers, the bookings, the shop and the filing, in one system that agrees with itself. Big companies have had that for thirty years. We are building it for everyone else, at a price a business of one can pay.
For the rules here. GST at 9%, CPF age bands and PR rates, IR8A, ACRA deadlines, public holidays and PayNow.
The pricing answers to customers rather than to investors, which is why one price covers every module and there are no investors to raise it.
S$365 a year, or S$49 a month, for every module, including every module we build after you subscribe.
The problem we work on
Look at what a working Singapore business actually pays for. An accounting subscription. A payroll app that charges by the head. A spreadsheet of customers. A booking link. An online shop. A folder of receipts on somebody’s phone. And a bookkeeper billing by the hour for work the software should have done.
Seven things, and none of them talk to each other. Every number gets typed at least twice. The month somebody mistypes one is the month the GST return is wrong, and nobody finds out until it matters.
Good back office software has always skipped these businesses. They have been sold either a system that assumes a finance team, a rollout budget and a year to install, or a cheap app that has never heard of CPF, SDL or a GST F5 return.
That gap is not a technology problem. It is a pricing and priorities problem: those businesses have never been worth building for, because each one is small. We think that is exactly backwards. They are the ones with the least time to spare and the least margin for a filing mistake.
Do for a two-person business what the big systems do for a two-thousand-person one. That is the sentence everything else is measured against.
What we build
One login, one system, one place the whole business lives. A sale is a sale everywhere at the same moment: it lands in the accounting, it counts towards the GST return, the customer’s record shows it, and the tax computation moves with it. Nobody re-types anything, and no two screens quietly disagree.
app.kevinchia.sg is deliberately broad. It has to work for a personal trainer, a bakery and a design studio on the same day, which means it does most of what each of them needs, for S$365 a year, with nothing to install and no consultant to book. We set every business up ourselves, so it works for you from the first day.
Leadership
Kevin is the founder of app.kevinchia.sg, built on 20+ years of running businesses across different industries, from personal training to e-commerce to software. He achieved early retirement at 40, and has since focused on building lean, profitable ventures rather than chasing scale for its own sake.
Kevin drives product direction and business strategy, applying systems thinking to turn everyday business problems into simple, working software. He believes in keeping things practical: build what a business actually needs, keep the business lean, and let profit go back to the business and the people running it.
He wrote the first version of app.kevinchia.sg to replace the software his own companies were paying for, and shipped custom systems for other businesses before the team grew.

The team
Ye Xun works on business development for selected verticals, starting with the automotive trade. He works closely with those businesses to understand how they operate, where their workflows break down, and where better systems can genuinely help.
His background spans entrepreneurship, sales, operations and digital product building, giving him a practical perspective on both business problems and the technology behind them. He focuses on building relationships, uncovering real customer needs and turning those conversations into opportunities for the product. He also steps in on support, so a question raised from inside app.kevinchia.sg reaches somebody who can act on it.
He believes good software should solve a clear business problem, stay simple to use, and make everyday work noticeably easier.
What we stand for
The parts you touch every day work, because they are in real use before anybody else gets them: we run our own businesses on app.kevinchia.sg, and our customers run theirs on it daily. What comes back through the ticket system shapes the next version, and it lands in every account rather than only the one that asked.
Raise a ticket from the Feedback button inside app.kevinchia.sg and it reaches the people who wrote the code. Everywhere else that request joins a roadmap and comes back in months, if it comes back. Here a feature is usually done by the next working day, and something genuinely broken is usually being worked on within the hour. Compliance, the staff portal and GST reporting all started as somebody’s ticket.
The same jobs bought separately run S$2,700 to S$6,800 a year in Singapore. This is S$365. The bigger saving is the one nobody counts: an admin hire here is S$2,000 to S$3,000 a month, and most of that work is keying the same number into three places. It stays this low because the company is bootstrapped, with no investors to answer to, no ad budget and no agency, and the money goes into the infrastructure instead.
Payroll, NRIC, bank and customer records are encrypted where they sit. Access is scoped per person and per module, two-factor login is there if you want it, and documents are served over private links. Small business software should not mean amateur engineering.
Where this goes
app.kevinchia.sg does most of what any small business needs, at a price anyone can start on. That is a deliberate trade, and it has a limit worth being honest about: the deeper a system goes into one industry, the less it fits every other one.
Some businesses do not just file with their software, they run on it: the floor, the kitchen, the stock, the roster, all of it, all day. That needs a system built around one industry rather than around all of them, and it is a different product at a different price. That work is under way.
A few businesses are shaped like nothing else, and need software shaped the same way. We build those too, from scratch, and the business owns what comes out. A Singapore company doing it may be eligible for support under the Enterprise Development Grant, which can cover part of the cost of the project.
None of that changes what app.kevinchia.sg is. It stays broad, self-serve and cheap enough to start on this afternoon, and it keeps getting the modules we build next.
